Last day in Yorkshire

It was a bit of a scramble this morning to get everything together and packed into the cars by 10am, but we did it with time to spare and as far as we can tell, we haven't left anything behind. If you want to have a nosy at where we stayed follow this link to The Biches.

On the way home we all went to Ripley Castle. This building is still a family home and has been owned by the Ingilbys for many generations.

The journey back to Liverpool was okay and the traffic not too sticky despite the horror stories that were played over and over on the radio about the jams and tailbacks. Lots of plans for the next few days, but you will have to check back to find out what we get up to!

Hiya,

Glad your journey back to Livepool was smooth, as was our journey home. Over 4 hours but as Alice (and me)slept we cracked on and drove home non-stop. It's a bit odd without Emily in the house. There is a big thunderstorm going on now which has given me a headache. I hope I feel better soon as I am going out with the pre-school mums later for a curry. Little Alice has been playing at Sam's today and had a lovely time. I have been unpacking and washing - boring! I miss the big spacious house in Otley and the lovely view from the kitchen window. What have you been up to today Emily?
Love you lots

p.s. I am hoping something will arrive in the post for you before you go to Barcelona!

Here's a joke for you Em...

Why do bears have fur coats?

Coz they'd look silly in anoraks!

Boom, Boom!!
